Today, the production of medicinal plants in the fields and gardens has taken on a scientific form. Some countries have been able to devote high level of agricultural land productivity and national income to the production of medicinal and aromatic plants. According to global statistics, there are many opportunities in this field for the countries.

:Introduction of Courses

Iran has been considered as one of the largest treasurers of medicinal and aromatic plants in the world. According to the reports, there are more than 8000 species of plants in Iran, which can be used to develop cultivation in other countries according to the regional cultivation pattern.

Some countries such as Germany and England have widely used the medicinal plants in their production program on a large scale. In general, global statistics show that the active ingredients of more than50% of the medicine produced are natural and of plant origin. Saharkhiz University of Applied Science, including a specialized field of medicinal plants, intends to engage in scientific research interactions at the international level by holding the above courses in the field of medicinal plants.
